Life in Kyrgyzstan — Richer Than You Expect

All KAC partner universities provide on-campus or adjacent hostels for international students. Here is what to expect:

Room Types

Single, double, and triple occupancy rooms available. Most have heating, hot water, and basic
furniture.

Indian Mess

Dedicated Indian canteens serve vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian food — dal, rice, roti, sabzi.
Meal costs are included in hostel packages or available à la carte.

Facilities

Wi-Fi, heaters, hot water, washing machines (shared), grocery stores within premises, salons,
cafes.

Security

24-hour campus security. Most hostels have CCTV and gated entry. Female student wings have
separate entries and female staff.

Indian Stores

Grocery stores within or near hostels stock Indian spices, pulses, rice, and familiar brands.

Community & Social Life

Cities like Jalal-Abad, Bishkek, and Osh have some of the most vibrant Indian student communities outside India. Here is what student life actually looks like:
